Dr Robin Limb

Welcome to our new member, Dr Robin Limb, who joined Impact100 SA on the night of our Grants’ event. Robin told us:

“I am excited to join Impact 100 and I’m grateful to Ellen Edmonds-Wilson for introducing me to such a worthwhile charity.

I am interested in exploring a philanthropic path, having recently retired as a medical practitioner in 2021.

My medical specialty was anaesthesia, based mostly at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woodville (TQEH), SA. It was also a privilege to contribute to our Anaesthesia College (ANZCA) and The University of Adelaide

Medical Education was at the core of my career. I demonstrated a commitment to lifelong learning with recent postgraduate qualifications in both perioperative medicine and clinical teaching. Public speaking became a passion for me with regular local and national academic presentations.

In retirement, I have been following and supporting Backpacks 4 SA Kids (a former recipient on one of our Impact100 SA $100,000 grants in 2017) and it is good to see them acknowledged in the SA Australian of the Year awards.”
