Impact100 SA Chair’s Takeaway Message – June 2020 Newsletter

Martin Luther King famously said, “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”

The tragic and preventable death of Anne Marie Smith is an issue that should outrage every one of us, and about which none of us should be silent.

It is probable that every day, many of us walk and drive past homes, just like Ann Marie’s, blind to the neglect, abuse or disadvantage going on behind closed doors.

Governmental agencies can only do so much, which is why we must support our Not For Profit organisations and charities, who are fundamental to caring for our communities.

Here at Impact100 SA we provide high impact grants to organisations and programs that seek to protect vulnerable people like Anne Marie Smith, by strengthening families and communities and addressing disadvantage.

Together we can work to solve the “wicked” problems and injustice that exist in our society.
