Our Management Committee recently welcomed a new addition, Sef Van Den Niewelaar, IT professional and owner of Galileo Business Solutions, with more than 30 years’ experience and expertise in finance and IT, consulting to companies like Coopers Brewery, Jurlique, National Pharmacies and McGuigan Simeon.
Sef joined Impact100 SA after hearing about our collective giving model when he was undertaking the Governor’s Leadership Foundation Program in 2020 with our Chairperson, Kathryn House and member, Alex Dimos. He said he “… was attracted to Impact100 SA as soon as Kath House told me about the organisation and what they stand for. The collective power of combining 100 smaller donations into one grant that can make a real difference to a deserving charity is immense. Also knowing that 100 per cent of all funds is used for the cause is very reassuring.”
Sef is originally from the Netherlands, and as well as being Chairman of the board of Rembrandt Living and committee member of AICD, is an avid hiker, table tennis player, geocacher and trail runner. Sef is married to Kenzie, a councillor at the City of Charles Sturt, and has two children. He also tells us he enjoys travel, the outdoors and the ‘occasional’ glass of red wine.
Sef is also joining our Membership Committee and will be responsible for sending membership renewals to many of you. To contact Sef please go to sef@impact100sa.org.au.
