Rural Business Support

You don’t have to be an individual to support Impact100 SA; we have couples, families, foundations and recently Rural Business Support joined our membership. RBS is committed to building a profitable, sustainable and resilient rural sector and has been supporting farming families since 2006. Last year, it launched a charity arm, the RBS Relief Fund which aims to provide practical support for farming families who are in emotional, financial, or situational distress, such as those affected by flooding now.

Mon Saunders, RBS Communications and Philanthropy Manager, met with our Chair, Kath House, when RBS was seeking advice about setting up a foundation and was impressed by the Impact100 SA model of collective giving, saying;

It made perfect sense to us as a young charity to join Impact100 SA. Your values mirror ours, which is to bring together a community of like-minded individuals who are committed to generously helping fund the delivery of grassroots initiatives supporting vulnerable members of our community and supporting them to step up to a new level, expand their services and underpin their sustainability. We’re just beginning in this space, but we hope to make a big impact.

Welcome, Mon and all at Rural Business Support. We hope there is not a fight when it comes to voting time!
