Following our Young Impact 2023 program launch at Urrbrae Agricultural High School last month, our impactful young entrepreneurs and philanthropists have been busy volunteering at a tree planting day with BioR, talking at school assemblies, and planning fundraisers. The Bentley family, after talking at an assembly, inspired the Year 4s at Pembroke School to have a giving day at the school, where they raised over $2000 by selling homemade goodies and crafts. One young entrepreneur Stella has been busy making fudge, selling to friends, family, and at her father’s workplace, and has raised over $200 in the process.
The Dreosti/Hoffmann/Selby clan shared their plans to hold a movie afternoon on Saturday 26 August at our recent Zoom catch-up, which was held on Sunday 25 June. Our next Zoom will be held on Sunday 30 July, where we will connect and share ideas. To find out more about Young Impact, please go to our Facebook page or the Impact100 SA website. The program is free, and all school-aged students and their caregivers are welcome.
