Over 60 young people from many different schools gathered for our Young Impact 2023 program launch at Urrbrae Agricultural High School.
Participants learn about the important work of not-for-profit organisations in our community, by taking part in volunteering opportunities including tree planting at BioR, visits to Backpacks for SA Kids and Treasure Boxes, and also raising funds for our selected charities. A panel of our Young Impact members shared their experiences from last year and also others introduced the three charities we will be supporting this year – Bikes For Refugees, Lolly Jar Circus and Talk Out Loud.
This year we are thrilled to announce that the Lang Family Foundation will be matching our Young Impact donations – so every $1 raised by our young philanthropists will become $2 to the charities we are supporting. Thank you to the Lang family, including Roger, Kirsty Roderick, and Fiona Grieve who are all members of Impact100 SA.
Thank you to Young Impact committee member and supporter, Mandy Adcock Photography for the following wonderful photos.
